ABOUT MIDNIGHT STATIC

Welcome to Midnight Static Radio

Midnight Static Radio didn't start as a grand plan — it started as a second chance. After things didn't quite work out at another radio station, I decided it was time to build something of my own. A place where music came first and the rules were simple: have fun, enjoy it, and just play.

Word spread, and a few friends got interested and decided to join me. Then another radio station closed its doors — and the DJs from that station came forward and joined us too. Build it, and they will come. That's exactly what happened.

Our motto has always been simple: have fun, enjoy, and just play music. The moment it starts feeling like a job, it's over. So our DJs here are free to do as they please — play what they love, be themselves, and have fun doing it. Because that freedom is what makes a great radio station.

Who it's for: Midnight Static Radio is made for listeners who miss real radio, the ones who want a person choosing the next record instead of an algorithm, and for independent DJs who want a place to play what they love without a playlist telling them what comes next. Every show you hear is put together by a volunteer roster of resident DJs, for people listening around the world at any hour.

Who builds it: the station is built and run independently by çհąìղ™, with the website, the stream and the on-air tools looked after in house. It is funded by listener donations rather than ads or a corporate network, so the only thing anyone here answers to is the music.
